A software development services company is seeking a senior backend developer to build and maintain Java applications, microservices, and complex systems for diverse client projects in Yokneam, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications
- Build backend services and microservices with Java and Spring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and improve development processes
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Stay current with software development technologies and practices
Requirements
- At least 4 years of backend development experience with Java
- Mandatory experience with Spring Boot 3 and Spring Framework 6
- Mandatory experience developing microservices
- Experience with large and complex systems
- Knowledge of HTTP requests, publish-subscribe systems, tracing, monitoring, and logging
Nice to have
- Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environment experience
- Linux experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent field
