Join a financial technology team building high-scale systems for account balances, funds transfers, and bank reconciliation. The role is approximately 80% backend and follows a hybrid model with three office days and two work-from-home days each week.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, high-performance .NET microservices
- Own and architect critical systems supporting high-volume financial workflows
- Develop services for account balances, internal transfers, and bank reconciliation
- Lead technical design discussions and influence architectural decisions
- Apply specification-driven development, SOLID principles, and established design patterns
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code
- Improve production quality, observability, and reliability
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams
- Mentor engineers and establish high engineering standards
- Use AI tools across software design, coding, testing, and review
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Strong backend experience with C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core
- Experience with relational and document databases, including SQL Server and MongoDB
- Hands-on experience building event-driven microservices with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or a comparable message broker
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and SOLID principles
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing
- Active use of AI coding tools and AI-assisted development workflows
- Strong communication, ownership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Redis
- Frontend experience with Vue 3 and TypeScript
