Responsibilities

Build core platform services for web, mobile, and backend engineering teams
Design and maintain APIs for distributed microservices
Establish platform standards, patterns, and engineering best practices
Own service stability and synchronous and asynchronous system communication
Create tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that improve developer efficiency
Operate AWS-based infrastructure, messaging systems, and infrastructure-as-code tooling
Partner with DevOps teams on deployment, monitoring, and scaling

Requirements

At least 5 years of software engineering experience focused on backend systems and platform development
Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, and APIs serving multiple teams
Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, EKS, SQS, Lambda, Helm, Terraform, or Pulumi
Proficiency in TypeScript
Experience building infrastructure for multiple development teams
Willingness to work in an office environment most days
