Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services in Node.js and Python
- Integrate large language models and develop multi-step AI agent workflows
- Develop real-time orchestration, automation logic, APIs, and data pipelines
- Improve backend performance, observability, and infrastructure scalability
- Manage databases, caching, data modeling, and distributed systems
- Apply cloud-native engineering practices across AWS or GCP environments
- Maintain engineering quality through CI/CD and reliable production delivery
- Collaborate with frontend, AI, product, and engineering leadership teams
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience building and scaling production systems
- Deep knowledge of Node.js and Python
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency
- Experience with AWS or GCP and microservices architectures
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching, and distributed systems
- Experience integrating large language models
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
Nice to have
- Founding engineer or early-stage startup experience
- Experience with LangGraph or other agent orchestration frameworks
