Join an AI software development team building scalable backend services and production infrastructure for AI agents, language models, and other intelligent systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents, including orchestration, tool and function calling, memory, and model integration.
- Design and implement backend services and APIs from detailed design through production deployment.
- Build and maintain asynchronous, event-driven pipelines using message queues, workers, and object storage.
- Improve performance and optimize high-throughput data and inference flows.
- Develop proofs of concept and conduct technology benchmarking.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams.
- Document code and participate in peer design and code reviews.
- Fix bugs and maintain reliable, efficient, and maintainable production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or graduation from a military technology unit.
- At least 4 years of backend development experience.
- Advanced Python skills and experience with modern REST API frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience with asynchronous programming using asyncio.
- Strong experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy.
- Experience with automated testing using pytest.
- Experience with Docker and microservices architectures.
Nice to have
- Experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications, including agent frameworks, tool or function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
