Join an engineering team building a cross-platform cloud security product. The role focuses on Go backend development, systems programming, operating-system integrations, reliability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

Design and develop production services and components in Go
Build reliable and scalable backend functionality
Work with operating-system APIs and cross-platform components
Design and maintain APIs and inter-service communication
Work with relational databases and persistent storage
Troubleshoot complex production and system-level issues
Participate in architecture and technical design decisions
Write maintainable, well-tested production code

Requirements

Strong production experience with Go
Strong understanding of concurrency and multithreaded programming
Experience building backend systems and APIs
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL
Good knowledge of SQL, transactions, indexes, schema design, and database performance
Experience with long-running services, agents, daemons, or desktop and system software
Understanding of operating-system concepts, including processes, IPC, permissions, filesystems, and networking
Experience with at least one of the Windows, macOS, or Linux system APIs
Experience designing reliable distributed systems, including retries, idempotency, failure handling, and persistence
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
