Join an international FinTech product team in a hybrid role based in Israel. Build scalable backend services and APIs with Python while using AI-assisted development throughout the software lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Python backend services
- Build reliable APIs with Flask or FastAPI
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions
- Use AI tools for development, refactoring, testing, debugging, and system design
- Collaborate with an international engineering team on FinTech challenges
- Improve engineering practices, code quality, and system performance
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience building large-scale backend services with modern architectures
- Strong Python and backend development skills
- Production experience with Flask or FastAPI
- Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Daily experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar
- Ability to apply AI thoughtfully across the software development lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving and engineering skills
- Good English communication skills
- Russian language skills
- Israeli citizenship
- Availability for hybrid work from the Israeli office
Nice to have
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- FinTech or other high-scale product experience
