Join a global engineering team developing high-performance block storage services for cloud and DPU environments. The role focuses on hands-on C/C++ development across Linux kernel and userspace components.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement networking features for distributed storage services and block storage systems
- Develop and maintain C-based Linux kernel and userspace software
- Build storage capabilities for host and DPU environments
- Define software architecture for high-performance, scalable storage services
- Research algorithms and interactions across the storage ecosystem
- Test new and existing features
- Investigate complex production bugs and customer issues
- Diagnose problems in kernel modules and related system components
- Develop durable solutions based on production findings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of senior software development experience, preferably in storage, networking, or operating systems
- Strong proficiency in C and C++
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and Linux-based networking environments
- Familiarity with RDMA technologies such as InfiniBand, RoCE, or iWARP
- Experience with RDMA programming models, including control and data paths
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems
- Understanding of complex, large-scale systems
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, scalability, and data management
- Strong autonomy, adaptability, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Linux kernel coding experience
- Knowledge of Linux kernel internals, including memory management and scheduling
- Experience with block storage or networking systems
