Develop secure, scalable backend services and APIs for cybersecurity projects involving cloud environments, endpoint threats, and remote management.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend systems
- Develop and integrate APIs with frontend and external systems
- Deploy and manage backend services in cloud environments
- Optimize server performance, security, and availability
- Apply threat awareness and defensive thinking to architecture and project planning
- Create procedures and workflows to address identified risks
- Support secure data orchestration and remote-management capabilities
Requirements
- At least 3 years of backend development experience
- At least 4 years of Python experience
- Experience with event-driven systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and design patterns
- Mandatory experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, API protection, and access management
- Security-first approach to coding and ability to solve complex problems under ambiguity
Nice to have
- Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD experience
- Deep knowledge of IoT operating systems and vulnerabilities
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, sockets, and network protocols
- Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
