Join a financial technology company’s backend engineering team in Tel Aviv, contributing to core products that improve access to credit. The role focuses on Python development, backend architecture, API integrations, relational databases, testing, and secure use of AI-assisted development tools.
Responsibilities
- Build and expand backend systems for core products
- Design system architecture for new products in collaboration with the engineering team
- Develop internal products and integrate external APIs
- Help build, test, and release products used by thousands of customers
- Contribute to backend architecture and technical strategy
- Use AI coding assistants while maintaining code quality, security, and critical review standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on backend development experience
- Strong Python programming skills
- Proven experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Ability and willingness to use AI development tools while critically reviewing generated code
- Independent, proactive working style and strong interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Fintech, billing, or payment systems experience
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with AWS
