Seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to research, develop, and implement ML algorithms for complex physics-based problems. Responsibilities include time-series classification, combinatorial optimization, and building training and simulation infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms for time-series classification
- Research and apply combinatorial optimization methods for large solution spaces
- Build infrastructure for training, evaluation, and deployment of models
- Create simulations to generate test data and validate algorithmic approaches
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or relevant engineering fields with physics background
- At least 3 years of experience writing Python and relevant libraries
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with end-to-end machine learning applications (clustering, classification, time series)
- Experience with probabilistic modeling and working with real data and databases
Nice to have
- Advanced degree
- Experience with information fusion algorithms and filters (e.g., Kalman Filter)
- Familiarity with Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINN)
- C++ development experience
