We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to own the production ML lifecycle, from research to deployment. You will build and maintain ML services, manage data infrastructure, and ensure code quality. Join a cyber insurance startup in Tel Aviv and work with Python, AWS, and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Transition machine learning workloads from research to production, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Design, build, and maintain ML services, their infrastructure, and monitoring.
- Integrate ML models into production systems, collaborating with engineering and DevOps teams.
- Own data infrastructure and tooling for ML systems, and prepare unstructured data for analysis.
- Mentor data scientists on writing readable, maintainable code and raise software engineering standards.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with hands-on ML domain experience.
- Strong Python skills and software engineering fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, SOLID, clean code.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM field.
- Solid grasp of core ML concepts (e.g., linear regression).
- Experience building services and tools for ML lifecycle optimization.
- Working knowledge of data cleaning and wrangling, and relevant tools.
- Experience with AWS (especially EKS).
- Result-oriented with strong attention to detail and a track record of execution.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating MLOps tooling: experiment trackers, data versioning, CI/CD/CT.
- Operations experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Data science exposure, particularly deploying and maintaining models.
