Join a defense organization’s data science team to build Generative AI products powered by large language models, autonomous agents, and retrieval-augmented generation. The role combines software engineering with applied GenAI research and development.
Responsibilities
- Develop Generative AI and LLM-powered applications.
- Build autonomous AI agents that reason, execute multi-step workflows, and interact with external systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
- Create GenAI applications and integrations using Python.
- Design and optimize prompts and complex LLM workflows.
- Develop and implement machine learning models.
- Evaluate model outputs and measure GenAI system performance.
- Research and implement emerging AI models, frameworks, and technologies.
- Use advanced SQL for data extraction, preparation, and analysis.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience, including full-stack development and Python.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing Generative AI systems and products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and RAG systems.
- Practical experience developing and implementing machine learning models.
- Strong Python proficiency and advanced SQL skills, including complex queries.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM application frameworks.
- Experience with prompt engineering and LLM optimization.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- Experience with Qdrant or other vector databases.
- Experience with Docker and deployment tools.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Experience improving and automating business processes with AI.
