Join an AI engineering team building reusable AI capabilities, agent infrastructure, evaluation systems, guardrails, and RAG solutions for internal and customer-facing products. The role is based in Tel Aviv with a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reusable AI models, tools, APIs, and platforms
- Develop and maintain an internal MCP server that securely exposes company data to AI agents
- Create evaluation frameworks and AI guardrails for model reliability, performance, and safety
- Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation systems
- Establish sustainable AI engineering practices and expertise
- Own projects from requirements gathering through development, deployment, and operation
- Advise internal teams and promote adoption of AI engineering platforms and tools
- Partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate AI adoption and productization
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend or server-side software development experience building complex, highly scalable systems
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language; Python is preferred
- Strong understanding of generative AI, large language models, and foundation models
- Hands-on experience building AI-driven workflows, agentic systems, evaluation frameworks, RAG systems, or MCP servers
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Some DevOps experience and willingness to develop, deploy, and operate projects end to end
- Ability to gather and refine requirements from non-technical internal users
- Fluent written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Experience with AI infrastructure
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
- Experience with agentic frameworks, model evaluations, RAG systems, MCPs, or AI skills
