Develop and improve AI, computer vision, and image-processing algorithms for a medical imaging product. Own work from data definition and implementation through validation, integration, deployment, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve AI, computer vision, and image-processing algorithms
- Manage the algorithm lifecycle from concept and data definition through implementation, validation, product integration, and maintenance
- Apply classical computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning to image classification, segmentation, and 3D modeling
- Improve algorithm robustness, performance, and reliability in production
- Collaborate with software developers, biomedical engineers, product specialists, and algorithm developers
- Research academic developments and assess their relevance to the algorithm stack
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field; excellent bachelor's graduates may also be considered
- Experience developing and implementing AI, computer vision, and image-processing algorithms
- Strong understanding of data quality, dataset design, model evaluation, and performance analysis
- Ability to independently lead technical projects from concept through deployment
Nice to have
- Deep learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- MATLAB experience for algorithm development and analysis
