Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust AI algorithms for medical data
- Conduct research and experimentation to improve algorithm performance and accuracy
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and clinical data experts
- Oversee multiple projects and support timely, product-aligned execution
- Provide strategic technical direction and mentorship to AI team members
- Represent AI considerations in cross-functional research, development, and product decisions
- Track advances in AI and machine learning and guide their adoption within the team
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience designing and implementing AI or deep learning algorithms
- Proven experience leading AI projects and delivering commercial AI solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with relevant AI/ML frameworks
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts
Nice to have
- Healthcare or medical imaging experience
- Experience with both computer vision and natural language processing
- Prior healthcare industry experience
