Join an in-house IT team managing complex, data-intensive, multi-network environments. The role focuses on database architecture, administration, automation, performance, and resilience across hybrid infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced SQL and NoSQL database architectures in complex hybrid environments
- Manage the full lifecycle of PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server instances, including clusters
- Monitor database performance, tune queries, and manage resources
- Design, implement, and maintain high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions
- Perform routine database maintenance, including partition management and database reorganization
- Write Bash and Python scripts to automate recurring database administration tasks
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a database administrator in large, complex environments
- Deep SQL expertise with PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or Oracle
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with virtualized environments
