Responsibilities
- Own data science problems end to end, from business question and hypothesis to modeling, evaluation, and production.
- Work with product, business, data, and engineering teams to develop data-driven solutions to complex challenges.
- Identify opportunities to improve products, customer experience, and business performance through statistical analysis, machine learning, and AI.
- Build, train, evaluate, and improve production machine learning models for real-time and batch use cases.
- Choose suitable analytical or machine learning methods based on the problem and available data.
- Develop evaluation approaches and connect model performance to business impact.
- Explain statistical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on data science experience.
- Strong statistical foundation and practical machine learning experience, including gradient-boosted trees such as XGBoost, LightGBM, or CatBoost.
- Experience applying generative AI and foundation models in real-world solutions.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience developing and deploying models in production.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in statistics, applied mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
