A cybersecurity technology company is seeking a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to build, optimize, and maintain secure, scalable data and analytics infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available databases for transactional, real-time, analytics, and big-data workloads.
- Build and maintain data-processing pipeline infrastructure for application teams.
- Develop CI/CD processes for data infrastructure changes, migrations, and database upgrades.
- Collaborate with developers to align data infrastructure with current and future product requirements.
- Work with security teams to meet rigorous infrastructure security and compliance standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data infrastructure engineering or a related role, such as DevOps with data expertise.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, Neo4j, and Kafka.
- Experience managing databases in self-hosted environments, preferably on Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and highly available architectures.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications in Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, or relational databases.
