Join a multidisciplinary data performance team building infrastructure for an advanced analytics platform. You will develop benchmarking and ETL capabilities, analyze performance, and collaborate with software, hardware, and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Build robust data benchmarking infrastructure
- Develop internal measurement and ETL tools
- Conduct detailed performance analysis and characterization
- Research current benchmarks and techniques for SQL and data optimization
- Evaluate, implement, and integrate tools for analytics performance work
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineers on product design and implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering
- At least 5 years of programming experience
- At least 2 years of experience with SQL tuning and data pipelines
- In-depth knowledge of SQL
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL benchmarks such as TPC-H and TPC-DS
- Experience with GPUs or other hardware accelerators
