Join a data-driven team to develop next-gen data pipelines powering generative AI foundation models. Own data quality for core datasets, work with petabytes of data, and collaborate with ML scientists to deliver impactful solutions. Hybrid role in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance data pipelines for large-scale text data.
- Ensure end-to-end data quality for ML and GenAI models.
- Build internal tools for data discovery, quality, and analytics enablement.
- Experiment with new technologies to optimize performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with ML scientists and stakeholders to translate business needs.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's in CS, Engineering, Statistics, or related.
- 6+ years in data engineering, with ML/Data solution delivery.
- Experience with cloud data pipelines (data lakes, serverless) and schema design.
- Strong programming in Python and Java.
- Proficiency in PySpark, Flink, Snowflake or similar big data frameworks.
- Experience with relational/NoSQL databases (MySQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
- Data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipeline background.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with large language models (GPT, BERT).
- Python data manipulation and visualization (NumPy, pandas, matplotlib).
- Experimental design, A/B testing, and ML evaluation metrics.
- Product experience impacting large customer bases.
