Join a data platform team as a senior technical anchor, designing and operating real-time processing systems, data quality infrastructure, schema tooling, and knowledge-base systems that support trustworthy AI workflows at scale. The role is hybrid in Tel Aviv, with at least three office days per.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Flink-based streaming pipelines at production scale
- Own data quality and observability infrastructure, including schema contracts, freshness monitoring, ownership registries, and alerting
- Build and evolve knowledge-base tooling for agents and engineers
- Design reliable data-integrity and failure-recovery systems
- Drive architecture while remaining hands-on in execution
Requirements
- At least 7 years of production backend or data infrastructure experience
- Deep production-scale experience with Flink, Kafka, or equivalent stream-processing systems
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, correctness, reliability, failure modes, and recovery
- Experience building or owning data quality or observability infrastructure
- Ability to explain complex systems and facilitate collaborative solutions
- An internal product mindset and ability to make deliberate build-versus-buy decisions
Nice to have
- Experience with data contracts, schema registries, or data governance tools
- Experience with Scala, Java, or Kotlin
- Experience with Aerospike, Elasticsearch, or similar databases
- Experience with agentic or LLM-related infrastructure
- Experience serving as a technical anchor on a small, high-scope team
