A financial technology company is seeking a mid-level Data Engineer to build and maintain reliable data pipelines for structured and relational data. The role is based in Tel Aviv and follows a primarily in-office work model, with four days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Own, maintain, and extend data pipelines
- Ensure data integrity and completeness by writing and maintaining tests
- Improve process efficiency and optimize pipeline runtime performance
- Design and evolve schemas across data pipelines
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud-based ELT/ETL pipelines
- Proven Python experience
- Strong understanding of distributed data-processing architecture
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with big data technologies
