Lead the data engineering function and manage Data Engineers and DBAs while evolving an enterprise data platform and directing a gradual cloud migration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Data Engineers and DBAs.
- Own the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the enterprise data warehouse and data platform.
- Lead ETL/ELT processes across Teradata and Informatica environments and manage ingestion from complex source systems.
- Guide gradual cloud migration, including architecture decisions, engineering standards, and best practices.
- Design and evolve data architecture across raw, staging, warehouse, and orchestration layers.
- Drive data modeling, data quality, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
- Partner with BI, analytics, and business teams to support business decisions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or data platform roles.
- Experience with enterprise data warehouses such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
- Strong experience designing and developing complex ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with enterprise ETL tools such as Informatica and advanced SQL.
- Experience with team management or technical leadership.
- Strong architectural thinking and ability to lead end-to-end engineering processes.
Nice to have
- ERP/SAP experience.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
- Cloud migration project experience.
- Experience with Airflow, dbt, or cloud-native pipelines.
