A defense and space manufacturing company is seeking an Information Extraction System Engineer to lead the development of a new satellite data processing system. The role involves implementing advanced image processing and AI algorithms, designing data pipelines, and collaborating across space projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and take ownership of the data processing and information extraction pipeline
- Implement advanced image processing algorithms and AI models
- Work cross-functionally with all space and satellite projects
- Conduct system surveys and design reviews
- Work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience implementing image processing and computer vision algorithms in data pipelines
- Experience training and deploying AI models in image processing and information extraction
- Experience building and designing ETL/ELT processes
- Systematic, innovative, and creative thinking
- Problem-solving skills, leadership ability, and capability to motivate colleagues
