Data Engineering Lead
Build and own the data capability, from event tracking and pipelines to the warehouse, reporting and analysis. Partner with product, marketing, finance and leadership to turn data into useful decisions. This is an in-office role in Tel Aviv.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the data infrastructure, including event collection, pipelines, cloud data warehouse, transformation layer and monitoring.
- Define event taxonomy and specifications across web, iOS and Android; coordinate implementation with developers and validate incoming data.
- Build recurring reports and self-service dashboards for product, marketing, finance and leadership.
- Analyze subscriptions and revenue, including retention, churn, cohorts, LTV, ARPU, conversion rates and payment performance.
- Measure channel and campaign performance, develop attribution models and report on paid media across web and apps.
- Design A/B tests.
- Use AI tools to accelerate pipeline development, analysis and self-service data access.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data roles spanning engineering and analysis.
- Experience building data infrastructure from scratch.
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying large datasets in a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery.
- Experience implementing event tracking and product analytics, including event taxonomy design; tools may include Mixpanel, GTM, GA4 or Jitsu.
- Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with B2C product analytics, including funnels, retention, cohorts, segmentation and LTV.
- Practical experience using AI tools in data workflows.
- Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field.
Nice to have
- Experience with payment data, particularly Stripe.
- A/B testing and applied statistical methods.
- Experience in gaming, fintech, e-commerce or sweepstakes.
- Experience with GCP or AWS.
