Own and build a data platform from ingestion to reporting. Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, maintain near real-time data layers, and deliver business dashboards. Work with modern data stack including dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, and BI tools. Apply AI tooling. Hybrid role in Tel Aviv.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end implementation of data platform, from ingestion to reporting.
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from production databases, product telemetry, and SaaS platforms.
- Build continuously refreshing pipelines and near real-time data layers with monitoring and alerting.
- Design and evolve modern data stack including data warehouse, transformation, orchestration, and BI layers.
- Design, build, and maintain business dashboards and self-service reporting for multiple departments.
- Apply AI tooling to data stack, including AI-assisted development and agent-based interfaces.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, documentation, and monitoring across platform.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in Data Engineering or BI Engineering.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with modern data stacks such as dbt, Airflow/Dagster, and warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience building dashboards with BI tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience integrating production databases with SaaS platforms (CRM, billing, ERP, marketing analytics).
- Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools in daily engineering work.
- Strong system design skills and ability to work independently in a startup.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew.
Nice to have
- Experience building BI/analytics agents or agentic workflows on data.
- Experience with streaming/event-driven data (Kafka, Kinesis, CDC) and real-time monitoring.
