A financial company seeks a senior security program manager to lead monitoring and control operations, professional teams, cyber risk initiatives, and security governance across complex hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the organization’s monitoring and control domain
- Manage team leads and security operations across SOC, DLP, vulnerability management, cyber threat intelligence, and related functions
- Oversee security monitoring and incident response across multiple SOC tiers
- Define and enforce data loss prevention policies
- Lead third-party cyber resilience assessments and supply chain risk activities
- Guide identity and access governance, including policy definition, implementation, and auditing
- Collaborate with business units, the Data Protection Officer, risk managers, auditors, and control bodies
- Architect and deliver security solutions for complex business processes
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives, including gap analysis, remediation planning, and implementation oversight
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in technical infrastructure management, information security, or cybersecurity
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading technical or professional teams
- Broad knowledge of cyber risk management and security solution deployment
- Hands-on experience monitoring hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
- Knowledge of information security standards and regulatory frameworks
- Experience leading complex cross-organizational initiatives and collaborating with business users
- Availability for non-standard hours to support 24/7 incident management and response
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and integrity
Nice to have
- Experience in IT infrastructure management
- Professional information security certifications or advanced coursework, such as CISM, CISSP, CISO, or DPO credentials
