An international mobile game company is seeking a remote, part-time Game Designer to support casual mobile game projects. The role covers level design, game balance, feature ownership, documentation, and competitor analysis under a B2B contract with a Cyprus-based company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document game features and logic based on team inputs
  • Create concepts, game design documents, technical descriptions, and other design materials
  • Design levels, build level matrices, and establish difficulty and progression
  • Maintain balance tables, configurations, formulas, and basic calculations
  • Collect references and analyze competitor features and comparable game mechanics
  • Own features from concept definition and requirements through integration and result analysis

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of commercial experience as a Game Designer or Generalist Game Designer
  • Hands-on experience with puzzle, casual, or hybrid-casual games
  • Experience designing, tuning, and balancing game levels
  • Experience owning features from concept and requirements through implementation and result analysis
  • Ability to create clear game documentation, including design documents, mechanic descriptions, and feature requirements
  • Confident use of AI tools for analysis, ideation, documentation, information structuring, and workflow optimization
  • Availability to stay in touch and respond during the working day

  • Experience with Unity
