Freelance, on-site role in Beijing for approximately two months, supporting Traditional Chinese localization quality assurance for action RPG, adventure, and dark wuxia games.
Responsibilities
- Perform linguistic quality assurance testing.
- Proofread and review in-game text, user interface content, dialogue scripts, and other localized materials.
- Identify, document, and report translation errors, contextual issues, display anomalies, and formatting problems.
- Assess fluency, naturalness, consistency, and faithfulness to the source text.
Requirements
- Native-level Traditional Chinese for Taiwan and fluent Mandarin.
- At least 2 years of experience in game localization or LQA for the relevant language pair.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with localization tools or content management systems such as Trados, memoQ, or XTM.
- Passion for gaming.
- Experience with action RPG, adventure, or dark wuxia titles.
