Operational Communications Technician

Join an operational communications team supporting control systems and critical communications infrastructure. The role includes fieldwork and travel to remote sites, with occasional work outside regular hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.
Responsabilidades
- Prepare equipment and write applications to connect substations to a control system.
- Perform point-to-point tests with an EMS.
- Maintain communications equipment at a backup site to support availability during emergencies, including participation in readiness exercises.
- Maintain security equipment at company sites and troubleshoot faults.
- Maintain operational telephony systems.
- Coordinate technical interfaces with system suppliers, including specifying and implementing tailored solutions.
- Prepare technical specifications for communications and building-control projects.
- Respond to faults, perform upgrades, and carry out preventive maintenance.
Requisitos
- A recognized technician diploma in communications, electronics, or electrical engineering.
- At least two years of experience with controllers, communications networks, telephony, security systems, and control systems.
- Good command of Hebrew and technical English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- A valid driving license.
- Willingness to work at height; workplace training will be provided.
- Willingness to work unusual hours, including Fridays, Saturdays, holiday eves, and holidays when required.
Se valora
- Knowledge of communications and control protocols.
- A restricted high- or low-voltage electrician license.
- Familiarity with safety procedures for low-voltage switchgear.
