Own customer liquid-cooling hardware programs from requirements through prototype, validation, and mass production. Serve as the technical link between customer R&D and internal engineering and manufacturing teams, with regular travel to factories in China and Vietnam.
Responsabilidades
- Manage customer liquid-cooling programs from requirements through prototyping, validation, and mass production.
- Act as the customer's technical contact for mechanical and thermal-module matters.
- Coordinate customer R&D with internal R&D, align specifications, and drive technical decisions.
- Lead customer design reviews and contribute to 3D models and 2D drawings as needed.
- Review designs for manufacturability and drive design-for-manufacturing improvements with suppliers.
- Manage engineering changes and problem reports through root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Travel to manufacturing sites in China and Vietnam for builds, supplier reviews, and issue resolution.
Requisitos
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of hands-on mechanical design and development experience with electronics, hardware, or high-performance computing products.
- Strong 2D drawing and 3D CAD skills using SolidWorks, Creo, or NX, including GD&T and tolerance analysis.
- Practical knowledge of die casting, stamping, and CNC machining.
- Experience working directly with Asian suppliers, factories, or customers, including on-site work in Asia.
- Willingness to travel regularly to China and Vietnam, including industrial cities outside major hubs.
- Excellent written and spoken English for technical meetings with global customers and teams.
- Experience in a customer-facing or technical project management role.
Se valora
- M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Liquid cooling or thermal management experience, including cold plates, manifolds, quick disconnects, or leak and pressure testing.
- Knowledge of brazing, friction-stir welding, or other joining processes.
- Structured problem-solving experience, such as 8D or FMEA.
- Mandarin at any level.
