Own the public communications and player community for a studio developing PC and console simulation games. Lead social channels, create marketing content, coordinate campaigns, and build strong player relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the studio’s presence across Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Reddit, and other digital channels
- Create short videos, images, GIFs, developer blogs, patch highlights, and other marketing assets
- Build and nurture a positive player community
- Engage with players, respond to feedback, and facilitate meaningful discussions
- Plan and execute campaigns for game updates, demos, and launches with development teams
- Track and analyze post and campaign performance to improve future content
- Support outreach to influencers, streamers, and press
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and communication style across channels
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing, social media, or community management
- Strong English writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create marketing-ready assets using Canva, AI platforms, Adobe tools, or video editing software
- Strong knowledge of current social media trends and platform best practices
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines across multiple projects
- Strong collaboration skills for onsite and remote teamwork
- Passion for games and player communities, particularly simulation titles
Nice to have
- Spanish or German bilingual ability
- Experience with Discord moderation
- Content creator or influencer outreach experience
- Experience shipping a game
- Knowledge of simulation, factory simulation, strategy, manufacturing, engineering, or science-fiction themes
