An aerospace manufacturing operations center is seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to plan and produce precision machined components from hard steels and aluminum. The role covers CNC programming and milling on three-, four-, and five-axis machines.
Responsibilities
- Plan and program computer-aided machining operations
- Produce aerospace components by CNC milling metals including hard steels and aluminum
- Apply appropriate cutting tools and machining inserts
- Interpret technical drawings for manufacturing
Requirements
- At least two years of experience programming and producing machined parts on three-, four-, or five-axis machines
- Required knowledge of SolidCAM and/or NX-UG CAM systems
- Knowledge of cutting tools and machining inserts
- Ability to read technical drawings
Nice to have
- Mechanical practical engineering or technician qualification
- Knowledge of Fanuc, Okuma, or Siemens controllers
- Technical English proficiency
