Lead the development of computing assemblies from systems engineering and design through production and customer delivery.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements, develop system architecture, and select technologies
- Lead a matrixed development team and manage subcontractors
- Own performance, quality, and schedules
- Lead assembly-level integration and testing, as well as system-level integration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering
- At least five years of hands-on hardware development experience, including boards or computing assemblies
- Experience leading people
Nice to have
- Experience developing ruggedized hardware for military systems
- Experience leading architecture and programmable-component firmware development
- Broad electronics knowledge, including mixed-signal, digital, power systems, or firmware
- Hands-on systems design experience
- Familiarity with international standards, particularly military standards
- A master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or systems engineering
