Responsibilities
- Manage emergency preparedness, safety and logistics
- Develop and implement emergency plans, procedures and business continuity processes
- Plan and lead drills, training and lessons-learned activities
- Promote workplace safety, address hazards and track corrective actions
- Manage safety incidents and coordinate the safety committee
- Oversee warehouses, inventory and emergency equipment
- Manage logistics services, suppliers and office maintenance
- Manage budgets, coordinate with regulatory bodies and lead cross-organizational processes
- Lead and motivate a team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least two years of experience managing employees or work teams
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Experience in emergency management, safety or logistics
- Familiarity with emergency and logistics management systems
- Experience in a water or wastewater utility, local authority or infrastructure organization
