Lead an operational risk team and drive cross-organizational risk management initiatives in a financial services environment. The role partners with senior leadership and business units to support informed, controlled, and effective decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage and provide professional and people leadership to the operational risk team.
- Manage risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of key controls.
- Lead discussions and track implementation of decisions.
- Analyze failure events, identify lessons learned, and lead improvement initiatives.
- Develop and advance operational risk policies and methodologies.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in operational risk, controls, audit, or a related field.
- Management experience or experience providing professional leadership to employees or teams.
- Relevant academic degree.
- High proficiency in Hebrew and English.
- Ability to lead processes and work across multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking, a systems perspective, and sound decision-making skills.
- Ability to work with senior management and communicate clear, influential messages.
- Initiative, curiosity, and motivation to lead change.
Nice to have
- Experience in a financial organization.
- Experience in a consulting firm focused on risk management, audit, or regulation.
