Spare Parts Planner
Manage spare parts inventory planning to support availability, operational efficiency, and reduced downtime. Develop demand forecasts, coordinate deliveries and replenishment, and work with internal teams and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop inventory strategies and accurate demand forecasts for spare parts.
- Monitor stock levels and manage reordering to balance availability and cost.
- Prepare delivery schedules and communicate delivery dates, delays, and potential issues.
- Identify critical parts and coordinate inventory priorities with operational teams.
- Track KPIs, supplier performance, inventory status, turnover, and forecast accuracy; report findings to management.
- Coordinate with purchasing partners and suppliers to support timely delivery and resolve procurement issues.
- Improve spare parts planning processes and develop business cases for potential parts recovery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in inventory management, spare parts planning, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with ERP systems.
