Global Medical Excellence Lead – CIS and Israel

Lead Medical Excellence strategy and capability programs across the CIS and Israel cluster. Partner with global and local Medical Affairs teams to improve onboarding, field medical effectiveness, compliance, and launch readiness.
Responsibilities
- Identify capability needs with Medical leadership and implement Medical Excellence programs aligned with business priorities.
- Assess organizational and field medical capabilities and provide local insights to improve global programs.
- Lead onboarding programs for new Medical Affairs colleagues.
- Implement performance frameworks, capability assessments, and certification programs to support MSL effectiveness.
- Align field medical activities and engagement approaches with Medical, Commercial, and Training stakeholders.
- Support launch readiness by ensuring Medical teams have the required capabilities, training, and resources.
- Promote compliant ways of working with Governance, Ethics, and Compliance teams.
- Build cross-functional partnerships across local, regional, and global stakeholders and represent the cluster within the Global Medical Excellence network.
Requirements
- Degree in a scientific, healthcare, medical, or related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including substantial Medical Affairs experience.
- Experience in Medical Excellence, capability development, medical education, or related Medical Affairs leadership.
- Strong knowledge of field medical organizations, MSL effectiveness, capability building, performance measurement, and launch readiness.
- Experience working across local, regional, and global organizations in a matrix environment.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior Medical and commercial stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while balancing local market needs with global strategic priorities.
Nice to have
- Advanced qualification such as MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent.
- Experience with medical education or related Medical Affairs leadership responsibilities.
