Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve performance across multiple branches through area managers, branch managers, and shift leaders.
  • Set operating standards, roles, decision rights, escalation paths, audits, and daily and weekly management routines.
  • Monitor service, delivery, staffing, revenue, costs, margins, and unit economics; hold managers accountable for results.
  • Coach managers, build their leadership capabilities, and strengthen ownership across the organization.
  • Manage the online customer journey, from discovery and ordering through delivery, issue resolution, conversion, repeat purchases, and retention.
  • Develop pricing, promotions, bundles, budgets, forecasts, and performance plans to grow sales while protecting margins.
  • Improve profitability by reducing waste, leakage, bottlenecks, and inefficient processes.
  • Develop opportunities into operating plans, pilots, service lines, partnerships, and institutional accounts.
  • Build relationships with merchants, delivery partners, and service providers; identify scalable service opportunities.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and team development as the business grows.
  • Use AI, dashboards, automation, and digital workflows to improve analysis, reporting, planning, and management processes.
  • Define requirements and acceptance criteria for technology teams and evaluate whether systems meet business needs.
  • Stabilize urgent issues, launch dashboards and workflows, define priority pilots, and prepare a growth roadmap during the first 90 days.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of operations or business management experience, including leadership across multiple restaurant or food-service locations.
  • Experience managing managers, establishing accountability, and improving operational performance.
  • Track record of improving processes, service quality, and profitability.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, food and labor costs, margins, and unit economics.
  • Comfort using data, dashboards, Excel or Google Sheets, and digital business tools.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on ownership, execution focus, and ability to investigate root causes and work through ambiguity.

Nice to have

  • Experience launching, scaling, or turning around a branch, brand, service, or business unit.
  • Experience growing delivery operations or online sales.
  • Business development, partnerships, or sales experience.
  • Practical experience with AI, automation, digital transformation, consulting, implementation, or operational turnaround.
