Own a core area of a fast-growing data security posture management product, from strategy and roadmap through delivery, launch, adoption, and customer impact. This senior individual-contributor role partners closely with engineering and customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and strategy for a core DSPM product area
- Lead work from product discovery through delivery and launch with engineering
- Drive customer adoption and measurable product impact
- Convert roadmap priorities into predictable shipped releases
- Make trade-offs between scanning coverage, accuracy, speed, and cost
- Gather customer, field, and market insights and turn them into prioritized plans
- Address complex, high-effort product problems and expand ownership across DSPM
Requirements
- Product management experience in cybersecurity, or experience as a sales engineer or solutions architect with the technical depth to transition into core product management
- Track record of owning a product area from roadmap through delivery and adoption
- Ability to reason about data discovery, scanning, and risk assessment
- Technical depth sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
- Ability to use AI tools to improve individual and team productivity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including product briefs and evidence-based prioritization cases
Nice to have
- Experience in data security, DSPM, DLP, or adjacent cloud and SaaS security
- Experience owning a technically deep detection or scanning engine, data-processing pipeline, or comparable backend product
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Microsoft 365, Snowflake, and Salesforce
- Experience driving outcomes as a senior individual contributor through influence rather than direct authority
