Join a growing legal technology startup developing an AI-native deal management platform for corporate and M&A lawyers. Apply transactional legal expertise across client enablement, product improvement, and AI system evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Onboard legal customers and help associates and partners realize value from the platform.
- Work remotely and on site at customer offices to build trust, provide guidance, and collect feedback.
- Translate customer needs and product issues into actionable input for product and engineering teams.
- Help implement product improvements and enhance the user experience.
- Design sample legal tasks and expected outcomes for AI system evaluation.
- Run tests using internal tools, analyze system performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering to optimize AI systems across diverse legal tasks.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 1–4 years of transactional experience in M&A, venture capital financings, or a similar practice area at a top-tier law firm.
- Strong ownership, self-management, initiative, and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence working with clients, including senior partners.
- High-level familiarity with AI tools and comfort working in a technology-focused environment; coding experience is not required.
- Analytical and systematic approach to defining correctness, building evaluation datasets, and designing meaningful tests.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to travel to client offices, including internationally.
Nice to have
- Experience in a customer-facing or product role at a technology startup.
- Experience with legal technology tools or AI products in a professional setting.
- Hands-on exposure to large language models, prompt design, or workflow building.
- Experience with data analysis.
