An applied research institute is seeking a motivated Lab Manager to lead laboratory and field studies in crop physiology using molecular biology, biochemistry, microscopy, plant physiology, and large-scale experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and execute complex laboratory and field experiments
- Develop, implement, and optimize research protocols
- Perform bioinformatics analyses and work with large datasets
- Mentor and support students and research trainees
- Coordinate activities with suppliers, companies, and research partners in Israel and internationally
Requirements
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Plant Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with advanced life sciences research methods and analytical techniques
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
Nice to have
- Scientific writing experience in Hebrew and English
- Experience with big data and bioinformatics analysis
