An educational organization in Jerusalem is seeking a lead manager for a team of field technicians and infrastructure staff. The role oversees technical service delivery, maintenance, support operations, and technology infrastructure projects across educational institutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead field technicians and infrastructure personnel, including task allocation, professional guidance, and ongoing quality control.
- Provide reliable, high-quality technology services to educational institutions in Jerusalem.
- Manage and prioritize service requests, workloads, and service-level targets.
- Lead training, mentoring, and professional development for the technician team.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and periodic inspections at educational institutions.
- Lead ICT and infrastructure projects, including renovations, installations, and institution relocations.
- Coordinate with schools, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze service data, prepare reports, identify failures, and lead improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Academic degree or recognized practical engineer or technician certification, or an accepted equivalent qualification.
- At least four years of relevant experience for degree holders, five years for registered practical engineers, or six years for registered technicians.
- Experience in computer technician work and infrastructure, including experience as a senior technician.
- Experience maintaining computers and infrastructure, performing preventive maintenance, and conducting field inspections.
- Experience providing technical service to end users.
- At least one year of direct management experience leading a technician team, including work allocation, workload management, and task prioritization.
- Familiarity with help desk or service-call management systems, Windows environments, and basic network infrastructure.
- Valid driving license and willingness to work regularly in the field.
- Ability to prepare basic reports and technical documentation.

- Experience leading ICT infrastructure projects and working with suppliers and contractors.
