A defense systems manufacturer is seeking a financial analyst to lead the financial aspects of complex international proposals, from customer requests through order receipt and negotiation. The role also establishes the financial and budgetary foundation for awarded programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial aspects of high-value defense systems proposals.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze data for competitive customer bids.
- Support proposal preparation from request for quotation through order receipt.
- Provide financial support during negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare the financial and budgetary basis for awarded orders.
- Conduct economic analyses and maintain cost models and databases.
- Review historical proposals and develop knowledge of the manufacturer’s products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the plant, division, and affiliated aerospace facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, or industrial engineering and management.
- Willingness to work overtime in an intensive environment.
- Service orientation, patience, accuracy, organization, and strong numerical ability.
Nice to have
- Experience with pricing and proposal preparation.
- Familiarity with the Talm system.
