Lead high-stakes economic research and national policy initiatives for a government economic policy office. Translate complex macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis into policy recommendations and executive briefs.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic national economic policy initiatives.
- Conduct rigorous economic and macroeconomic research.
- Formulate and shape public policy and major reforms.
- Assess regulatory and geopolitical impacts on the economy.
- Translate complex economic data into actionable policy recommendations and executive briefs.
- Coordinate complex processes involving multiple stakeholders and government ministries.
Requirements
- Mandatory academic degree in Economics at bachelor’s or master’s level; a mathematics or exact sciences degree combined with a master’s in Economics is also acceptable.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3 years with a master’s degree.
- Relevant experience in economic research, public policy formulation, regulatory assessment, corporate strategy, financial analysis, or high-tech market analysis.
- Expertise in geo-strategic dynamics, international relations, national security considerations, and global macroeconomic trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder or inter-ministerial processes under tight deadlines.
