A leading financial institution is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to perform analytical, business, and economic analysis of strategic business areas and products. The role supports planning, strategy development, and executive decision-making through advanced data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business areas, customer segments, products, and other strategic domains from analytical, business, and economic perspectives.
- Work with data repositories and advanced analytical tools.
- Develop reports and dashboards.
- Monitor developments within the bank and the broader banking system.
- Prepare analyses and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
- Participate in planning processes and the development of banking strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in analytics and drawing conclusions from data.
- Experience working with data and analytical solutions.
- Mandatory proficiency with SQL and SAS or equivalent advanced query and research tools.
- Advanced analytical thinking and strong business understanding based on data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to organize work accurately, manage details, and collaborate across multiple functions.
Nice to have
- Experience with data warehouse architectures.
- Knowledge of financial statements.
- A master's degree in economics or business administration.
