Join a global payroll team to own end-to-end Israeli payroll operations for more than 700 employees, with opportunities to expand into global payroll and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own and analyze end-to-end payroll processes for more than 700 employees
- Maintain and validate payroll master data throughout onboarding, employment changes, and terminations
- Manage complex cases involving terminations, relocations, special benefits, corrections, retroactive payments, equity, leaves, garnishments, and exceptions
- Lead month-end and quarter-end payroll close activities, including reconciliations, variance analysis, journal entry support, and general ledger reporting
- Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors on payroll operations, compliance, and process improvements
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining documentation, controls, and audit-ready payroll reports
- Build, document, and optimize payroll workflows, controls, and reporting
- Introduce AI and automation tools to improve payroll processes
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience in a large global organization
- End-to-end payroll expertise covering calculations, benefits, deductions, reporting, and compliance
- Understanding of payroll regulations and statutory reporting; Israeli payroll knowledge is an advantage
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, XLOOKUP, reconciliations, and data validation
- Ability to analyze large datasets and manage high-volume payroll under tight deadlines
- Strong interest in technology, AI, and automation for payroll operations and reporting
- Collaborative approach with HR, Finance, Legal, and external providers
- High attention to detail, ownership, discretion, and integrity
- Fluent English is an advantage
Nice to have
- Experience with Hilan Pro, Hilan NEXT, or Hilanet
- Global payroll experience or experience supporting payroll outside Israel
- Experience with NetSuite and HRIS platforms, including Oracle
- Hands-on experience applying AI or automation to payroll, HR, or reporting workflows
