An established software and data security company is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to manage Israeli payroll operations and work with HR, Finance, employees, and external providers.
Responsibilities
- Support the complete monthly payroll process and ensure accurate, timely execution.
- Collect, validate, update, and maintain payroll data and employee records.
- Process payroll changes for new hires, employee changes, and terminations, including Form 161 documentation.
- Manage pension and benefits payroll data and perform ongoing reconciliations.
- Review attendance, vacation, sick leave, and other absence data.
- Perform payroll validations, reconciliations, and control checks.
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc payroll reports and support regulatory and annual forms, including Forms 101 and 106.
- Answer employee payroll questions and provide timely support.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external payroll and pension providers.
- Investigate payroll discrepancies, identify root causes, and follow issues through resolution.
- Support payroll process improvements and automation.
- Ensure payroll activities comply with company policies and applicable Israeli regulations.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Israeli payroll.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with the Hilan payroll system.
- Strong knowledge of Israeli payroll processes, labor regulations, taxation, social security, and pension requirements.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, accountability, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong service orientation and interpersonal skills.
