Own the accounts payable function and support accurate, timely financial operations, supplier payments, tax treatment, reconciliations, and payment controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly supplier payment process, including aging reviews, withholding tax checks, payment approvals, and exception resolution.
- Manage supplier balances, reconciliations, aging, open items, and supplier master data.
- Act as the primary contact for key suppliers and employees regarding accounts payable matters.
- Oversee the outsourced European bookkeeping provider and review supplier invoice accounting.
- Review VAT treatment, import documents, customs, duties, and related costs.
- Manage withholding tax for Israeli and foreign suppliers, including annual updates.
- Monitor GR/IR and supplier debit balances and perform bank reconciliations.
- Set up fixed assets in SAP according to asset categories and purchase orders.
- Improve accounts payable processes and financial controls.
Requirements
- Bookkeeping or accounting certification required.
- At least 5 years of relevant accounts payable or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong knowledge of supplier accounting, VAT, withholding tax, and reconciliations.
- Strong ownership, independence, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Good English.
